What's included
We aim to provide an all round picture of horses, lessons, hacks, lectures, hands on with grooming, tack cleaning, mucking out and all forms of horse care.
The children are split into groups and monitored throughout the day. Sensible clothes, packed lunch and dropped off for 9:45am. Collected at 3:45pm, the day is packed with fun and enjoyment.
Detailed itinerary below
- 09:45 arrive, sign in
- 10-11 grooming, tack up
- 11-12 lesson
- 12:15pm lecture
- 1:15pm lunch
- 2:15pm tack up
- 2:30pm lesson or hack
- 3:30pm mini lecture
- 3:45pm sign out and pick up.
Bring a packed lunch and have this with your instructor (not to share!) and ready for home at 4:30 P.M.
This is a wonderful way to gain experience and really improve the riding.
We strive to educate all the pupils with sound education based on The British Horse Society ethos.
Voucher
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that
anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact
the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.
Special Conditions
Minimum age 6. Maximum age 15.
Available all school holidays and inset days.
Available Tuesday to Friday.
Day starts at 9:45am and ends at 3:45pm.
Lectures may change dependent on the ability of the children,
All children must be signed in and signed out, registration forms must be completed.
Riding hats can be hired from the centre
It is advisable to wear leggings, track suit bottoms, comfortable trousers with a sensible pair of boots or shoes, preferably with a small heel and a smooth sole. Trainers are not acceptable footwear. We have some boots available to borrow.
Booking your event
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen
date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
