What's included
Majestic, silent, awesome are all words to describe the beauty and fun experienced with a flight in a glider.
This is your chance to fly a glider. After meeting your qualified instructor and briefing on the flight ahead it climb aboard and strap in.
Your glider will be hooked up to a tug aircraft or attached to a winch - ready for launch!
Your instructor will pull the release handle and you are then gliding for real. Your instructor will demonstrate the controls before you take control and search around the skies for the odd thermal to keep you up longer.
Floating through the skies in virtual silence, gliding is the ultimate in relaxed flying. Soon it will be time to join back at the airfield by floating down for a landing.
Experience includes:

- 6-12 minute Flight Time
Voucher
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that
anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact
the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.
Special Conditions
Spectators are welcome and may take photographs
Maximum Pilot Weight is 16 Stone (102 kg)
Maximum Pilot Height is 6' 6" (1.98 m)
Minimum Pilot Age is 12 Years (adult supervision required for under 16s on airfield premises)
Booking your event
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen
date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
