What's included

Flying a microlight aircraft could be described as true freedom in the air. It's certainly an exciting form of flight that has developed greatly over the last 20 years, evolving into one of the safest and most economical ways of getting into the air. So, if you've ever fancied having a go at flying, here's an opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of this fantastic form of flight. You will have a briefing/ground school on your flight and will be taught how to carry out a full preflight safety check on the aircraft, you'll taxi out onto our grass runway at Stoke Airfield, situated right alongside the Medway Estuary. Once airborne you'll have a marvelous view of the surrounding countryside and your instructor will show you how to perform turning, climbing and descending manoeuvres.

Voucher

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

Special Conditions

You should be able to obtain your licence in three months or less providing you are available and weather permitting All the equipment you need will be provided but it is advisable to supply your own headsets when solo you will require these. The age restrictions are for people from 14 to 90. You will be required to join the club at £10 per month the first six months is included. NOT INCLUDED You will require third party insurance when you go solo this will be extra and will cost approx £160 If you do not have your own aircraft and you wish to fly solo in the instructors aircraft there will be a self insurance payable to the instructor between £500 and £1000 depending on the aircraft If you reach the sage of completing the course and are ready for your GST(general flying test)approx £150 plus the cost of aircraft in the time it takes We're open 7 days a week, so you can book a flight when it suits you weather per-mitting

Booking your event

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
