What's included

After a short briefing you will, for 30 minutes, be transported into another world.

On this flight you will see such exciting landmarks as :-
- the Cardington Airship Hangars (sheds) which dominate the north Bedfordshire skyline – they are just as impressive from above. Built in the 1920s to house cargo and passenger-carrying airships. Today their use is more diversified - not just in the development of airships, but as a fire research centre and in films, too, such as Batman Begins.
- the Millbrook Vehicle Proving Ground – modelled on the Milford proving ground in the USA, Millbrook is an extensive site where every kind of land vehicle including heavy commercial, military and off-road vehicles are tested and demonstrated.
- Woburn Abbey, whose history dates back to 1145, originally a house for Cistercian monks and now home to the 15th Duke of Bedford. Look out for the safari park and the deer which roam freely around the estate.
- Milton Keynes and the Snow Dome. The road layout of this new town really is impressive from the air – very different to most english towns that have grown through random developments.

Your pilot will explain more during en-route commentary. A truly fabulous flight for historians, motor enthusiasts and animal-lovers alike!

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

Special Conditions

By law Children from 2 years old must have their own seat. We recommend a minimum age of 8 for this experience.
Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight is 17 stone.
The helicopters carry between 3 and 6 people, so there will be other passengers on board.
Flights take place at weekends, flying once per month alternating between Saturdays and Sundays.
Spectators welcome and may take photographs.
